Our cooler bags use closed-cell PE, XPE or EVA foam in 8-15 mm thicknesses, rated around R-2.5 to R-4 per inch. An aluminum PET liner cuts radiant heat by roughly 50% and can extend chilled hold times by 10-20%, depending on load, ambient temperature and how often the bag is opened.
